To unlock the doors:
2. While the UNLOCK button is pressed , (after 4 sec-
ond s) press the LOCK button. Release both buttons.
Press and release the UNLOCK button on the transm itter
once to unlock the driver’s door, or twice to unlock all
doors. The turn signal lights will flash twice to acknow l-
edge the unlock signal. The illuminated entry system also
turns on.
The “Rem ote Unlock Driver’s Door 1st” featu re can be 2
reactivated by rep eating this proced ure.
To lock the doors:
Press and release the LOCK button on the transm itter to
lock all doors. The turn signal lights will flash once to
acknow ledge the lock signal. The horn will chirp once to
acknow ledge the signal. If desired , the “Sound Horn On
Lock” featu re can be turned on and off by referring to
Personal Settings in the “Electronic Vehicle Inform ation
Center (EVIC)” section of this manu al, or by follow ing
these step s:
The head lights will also activate and rem ain on for 90
second s (program mable) when the doors are unlocked
using the rem ote keyless entry transm itter. The time for
this featu re is program mable on vehicles equ ipped with
the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center (EVIC). Refer
to “Turn Head lamps on with Remote Key Unlock” und er
“Personal Settings” in the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation
Center (EVIC) section of this manu al for details.

NOTE: The system can also be program med to unlock
all doors on the first press of the UNLOCK button. Refer
to “Rem ote Unlock Driver’s Door 1st” und er “Personal
Settings” in the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation Center
(EVIC) section of this manu al, or simply follow these
step s:

press the PANIC button. Release both buttons.
The “Sound Horn On Lock” featu re can be reactivated by
rep eating this proced ure.
