GARAGE DOOR OPENER — IF EQUIPPED
The HomeLink Universal Transceiver rep laces up to
three rem ote controls (hand held transm itters) that oper-
ate devices such as garage door openers, motorized
gates, or hom e lighting. It triggers these devices at the
push of a button. The Universal Transceiver operates off
you r vehicle’s battery and charging system ; no batteries
are need ed.

with a garage door opener that has a “stop and
reverse” featu re as req uired by fed eral safety stan -
dard s. This includes most garage door opener mod-

Programming HomeLink
NOTE: When program ming a garage door opener, it is
advised to park outsid e the garage. It is also recom -
mend ed that a new battery be placed in the hand -held
transm itter

device
being
program med
to
HomeLink for quicker training and accurate transm is-
sion of the rad io-frequ ency signal.
