CAUTIO N!
To avoid damage to the mirror durin g clean ing,
never spray any clean ing solu tion directly onto the
mirror. Apply the solu tion onto a clean cloth and
wipe the mirror clean .
Exterior Mirrors Folding Feature — If Equipped
Some models have exterior mirrors that are hinged and
may move either forw ard or rearw ard to resist damage.
The hinges have three detent positions; full forw ard , full
rearw ard , and norm al.
Driver’s Side Outside Mirror Auto Dimmer — If
Equipped
The driver’s side outsid e mirror autom atically adjusts for
annoying head light glare from vehicles behind you . This
featu re can be turned on or off by pressing the button at
the base of the Insid e Rearview Mirror.
Outside Mirror — Driver’s Side
Adjust the outsid e mirror to center on the adjacent lane of
traffic, with a slight overlap of the view obtained on the
insid e mirror.
Outside Mirror — Passenger’s Side
Tilt in Reverse Feature— If Equipped
Adjust the convex outsid e mirror so you can just see the
side of you r vehicle in the portion of the mirror closest to
the vehicle. This typ e of mirror will give a much wider
view to the rear, and especially of the lane next to you r
vehicle.
The ЉTilt in ReverseЉ featu re tilts the outsid e rearview
mirrors down when the vehicle is shifted into REVERSE
with the ignition switch in the RUN position. This featu re
provid es the custom er with a better view of the grou nd
and vehicle in the area of the rear tires when backing up.
The mirrors move back to their previou s position when
the vehicle is shifted out of REVERSE. This featu re is
disabled from the factory, but can be enabled by the
