UNDERSTANDING THE FEATURES OF YOUR VEHICLE
ADJUSTABLE PEDALS — IF EQUIPPED
Press the switch rearw ard to move the pedals rearw ard
(tow ard the driver).
This featu re allow s both the brake and accelerator pedals
to move tow ard or away from the driver to provid e
improved position with the steering wheel. The adjust-
able pedal system is designed to allow a greater range of
driver comfort for steering wheel tilt and seat position.
The switch is located on the front side of the driver’s seat
cushion side shield .

• The pedals can be adjusted while driving.
The pedals can be adjusted with the ignition OFF.

The pedals cannot be adjusted when the vehicle is in R
(Reverse) or when the Speed Control is ON. If the
vehicle is equ ipped with memory seats a message will
be displayed in the Electronic Vehicle Inform ation
Center (EVIC) if the pedals are attem pted to be ad-
justed when the system is locked out (“Ad justable
Ped al Disabled — Cru ise Control Engaged ” or “Ad -
justable Ped al Disabled — Vehicle In Reverse”).
NOTE: If you r vehicle is equ ipped with memory seat
featu re, you r rem ote keyless entry transm itter or memory
seat buttons on the driver’s door panel can be used to
recall the adjustable pedals to saved positions. Refer to
the “Seats” section for details.
Adjustab le Ped al Switch
Press the switch forw ard to move the pedals forw ard
(tow ard the front of the vehicle).
