TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING — PREMIUM
SYSTEM
The Tire Pressu re Monitoring System consists of the
follow ing components:
The Tire Pressu re Monitor System (TPM) system uses
wireless technology with wheel rim mounted electronic
sensors to monitor tire pressu re levels. Sensors mounted
to each wheel as part of the valve stem transm it tire
pressu re read ings to the Receiver Mod ule. The wheel
sensors monitor tire pressu re, and statu s for all four
active road tires and the spare tire. The spare tire pressu re
is monitored , but not displayed .

Lamp
NOTE: It is particu larly important, for you to check the
tire pressu re in all of you r tires regu larly and to maintain
the prop er pressu re.
The system consists of tire pressu re monitoring sensors
attached to each wheel throu gh the valve stem mounting
hole, a central receiver module, Wheel Sensor Trigger
Mod ules mounted in three of the four wheel wells,
variou s Tire Pressu re Monitoring System Disp lay Mes-
sages in the EVIC, and an amber colored Ind icator Lamp.
A sensor shall be installed in the spare wheel if the
vehicle is equ ipped with a matching full size spare wheel
and tire assem bly.
The Tire Pressu re Monitoring Ind icator Lamp will
illuminate in the instru ment cluster, and an au-
dible chim e will be activated when one or more
tire pressu res is low. The Tire Pressu re Monitoring Ind i-
cator Lamp will flash on and off for ten second s when a
system fault is detected . The flash cycle will rep eat every
ten minu tes or until the fault cond ition is rem oved and
reset.
