Transmission Range Indica tor
selector is placed in the PARK position. The light
shou ld turn off. If the light rem ains lit with the engine
running you r vehicle will usually be drivable, how -
ever, see you r dealer for service as soon as possible. If
the light is flashing when the engine is running,
immediate service is requ ired and you may experience
red uced perform ance, an elevated / rou gh idle or en-

Seat Belt Reminder Light
When the ignition switch is first turned ON, this
light will turn on for 5 to 8 second s as a bulb
check. During the bulb check, if the driver’s seat gine stall and you r vehicle may requ ire tow ing. The 4
belt is unbu ckled , a chim e will sou nd . After the bulb
check or when driving, if the driver seat belt rem ains
unbu ckled , the Seat Belt Warning Light will flash or
rem ain on continu ously. Refer to ЉEnhanced Driver
Seat Belt Remind er System (BeltAlert™)Љ in the Occu-
pant Restraints section for more inform ation.

The pointer show s the level of fuel in the fuel tank when
the ignition switch is in the ON position.
Fuel Gauge
This light will turn on continu ously when
there is a Low tire pressu re cond ition. The
light will also turn on if a problem exist with
any tire sensor. When a system fault is
detected , the ind icator lamp will flash rep etitively for
ten second s. The flash cycle will rep eat every ten
minu tes or until the fault cond ition is rem oved and

Electronic Throt tle Cont rol (ETC) Light
This light inform s you of a problem with the
Electronic Throttle Control system . If a prob-
lem is detected the light will come on while
the engine is running. Cycle the ignition key
when the vehicle has completely stop ped and the gear
