Before raising the vehicle loosen, but do not rem ove,
5. Turn the jack screw clockw ise to firm ly engage the jack
sad dle with the lift area of the sill flange, use the lift area
closest to the flat tire.
the lug nu ts of the flat tire using the lug wrench. Turn the
wheel nu ts counterclockw ise one turn while the wheel is
still on the grou nd .

Raise the vehicle just enou gh to rem ove the flat tire
and install the spare tire.
