do not use polishes, oils, cleaning fluids, solvents, deter-
gents, or ammonia based cleaners to clean you r leather
upholstery. Application of a leather cond itioner is not
requ ired to maintain the original cond ition.
Clean ing Plastic Instru ment Clu ster Lenses
The lenses in front of the instru ments in this vehicle are
molded in clear plastic. When cleaning the lenses, care
must be taken to avoid scratching the plastic.

Clean with a wet soft rag. A mild soap solu tion may be

used , but do not use high alcohol content or abrasive
cleaners. If soap is used , wipe clean with a clean damp
rag.
Do not use volatile solven ts for clean ing purposes.
Many are poten tially flam mable, and if used in
closed areas they may cause resp iratory harm .

Glass Surfaces
Do not bleach, dye or clean the belts with chem ical
solvents or abrasive cleaners. This will weaken the fabric.
Sun damage can also weaken the fabric.
All glass surfaces shou ld be cleaned on a regu lar basis
with any commercial hou sehold -typ e glass cleaner.
Never use an abrasive typ e cleaner. Use caution when
cleaning the insid e rear wind ow equ ipped with electric
defrosters or the right rear quarter wind ow equ ipped
with the rad io antenna. Do not use scrap ers or other
sharp instru ments which may scratch the elem ents.
If the belts need cleaning, use a mild soap solu tion or
lukew arm water. Do not rem ove the belts from the car to
wash them .
Replace the belts if they appear frayed or worn or if the
buckles do not work prop erly.
When cleaning the rear view mirror, spray cleaner on the
tow el or rag that you are using. Do not spray cleaner
directly on the mirror.
