UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
RADIO OPERATION AND CELLULAR PHONES
Und er certain cond itions, the cellular phone being On in
you r vehicle can cause erratic or noisy perform ance from
you r rad io. This cond ition may be lessened or eliminated
by relocating the cellular phone antenna. This cond ition
is not harm ful to the rad io. If you r rad io perform ance
does not satisfactorily “clear” by the rep ositioning of the
antenna, it is recom mend ed that the rad io volu me be
turned down or off during cellular phone operation.
The instru ment panel featu res four dual-vane airflow
registers. Two registers are located on the outer end s of
the instru ment panel and two are located in the center of
the instru ment panel. These registers can be closed to
partially block airflow.

Air Con dition ing
The controls for the heating/ air cond itioning and venti-
lation system in this vehicle consist of a series of rotary
knobs. These comfort controls can be set to obtain desired
interior cond itions.
Press this button to turn on and off the air cond i-
tioning. Cool dehu midified air comes throu gh the
outlets selected by the mode selector. Press the button a
second time to turn off the air cond itioning. The button
inclu des an LED that illuminates when compressor op-
eration is selected .
