UNDERSTANDING YOUR INSTRUMENT PANEL
REMOTE SOUND SYSTEM CONTROLS
The rem ote sou nd system controls are located on the
surface of the steering wheel at the 3 and 9 o’clock
positions.
nu mber, tap e, or one of 200 Satellite rad io channels
depend ing on which rad io is in the vehicle.
The VOLUME switch controls the volu me of
the sou nd system . Pressing the top of the
rocker switch will increase the volu me and
pressing the bottom of the rocker switch will
decrease the volu me.
The AUDIO MODE SELECT button changes
the mode of the rad io from AM to FM to Tape
to CD, or to Satellite (SAT) depend ing on
which rad io is in the vehicle.
The FUNCTION SELECT button advances the
rad io to the next preset, changes the tap e side
being played , or changes the current disc when
used in audio mode.
Some models featu re an Electronic Vehicle Inform ation
Center (EVIC) with driver-interactive display. This is
located in the upper part of the instru ment cluster
betw een the speed ometer and tachom eter. The audio
mode of the EVIC can display any one of twelve rad io
station preset frequ encies, CD disc nu mber, CD track
The SCROLL buttons change selections such as
rad io station, CD track, or satellite rad io chan-
nel depend ing on the current mode.
