On steep hills, a greater speed loss or gain and / or more
frequ ent downshifts (auto transm ission only) may occur
so it may be preferable to drive withou t Electronic Speed
Control.
ELECTRICAL POWER OUTLET

There are two 12-Volt (DC) auxiliary power outlets that
can provid e up to 160 Watts (13 Amps) of current for
accessories designed for use with the stand ard power
outlet adapters. The power outlet, located in the lower
portion of the instru ment panel, has a snap -on plastic cap
so that it can be covered when not in use. When the
optional cigar lighter heating elem ent is used in the
left-sid e power outlet, it heats when pushed in and pops
out autom atically when read y for use. To preserve the
heatin g elem ent, do not hold the ligh ter in the heatin g
position .
Pow er Outlets
The left-sid e power outlet is powered when the key is in
the ON or ACC positions.
The right-sid e power outlet is powered directly from the
battery (power available at all times). Item s plugged into
this power outlet may discharge the battery and / or
prevent the engine from starting.
NOTE: Do not exceed the maxim um power of 160 Watts
(13
Amps) at 12-Volts.
