If the rear wiper is operating when the ignition is turned
to the LOCK position, the wiper will autom atically retu rn
to the “Park” position. When the vehicle is restarted , the
wiper will resu me function at whichever position the
switch is set at.
CAUTIO N!
Failu re to follow these caution s can cause damage to
the heatin g elem ents:

Use care when wash ing the insid e of the rear
window. Do not use abrasive window clean ers on
the interior surface of the window. Use a soft cloth
and a mild wash ing solu tion , wiping parallel to
the heatin g elem ents. Labels can be peeled off
after soak ing with warm water.
Do not use scrap ers, sharp instru ments, or abra-
sive window clean ers on the interior surface of the
window.

Rear Window Defroster — If Equipped
The rear wind ow defroster button is located on the
bottom right-sid e of the blow er control knob.
Press this button to turn on the rear wind ow defroster
and the heated outsid e mirrors (if equ ipped). An ind ica-
tor in the button will illuminate when the rear wind ow
defroster is on. The rear wind ow defroster autom atically
turns off after approxim ately 10 minu tes. For an addi-
tional five minu tes of operation, press the button a
second time.

Keep all objects a safe distan ce from the window.
NOTE: To prevent excessive battery drain, use the rear
wind ow defroster only when the engine is operating.
