If you r RKE transm itter fails to operate from a norm al
distance, check for these two cond itions:

Remove and rep lace the battery. Avoid tou ching the

If the RKE transm itter is equ ipped with a screw,
new battery with you r fingers. Skin oils may cause
battery deterioration. If you tou ch a battery, clean it with
rubbing alcohol.
rem ove the screw. With the RKE transm itter buttons
facing down, use a flat blad e (screw driver) to pry the two
halves of the RKE transm itter apart. Use extrem e care not
to damage the seal or internal components.
3. To reassem ble the RKE transm itter case, snap the two
halves together.
