WARN ING!
A belt  that  is  buckled   into  the  wron g buckle   will
not  protect   you   prop erly.  The  lap   portion   could    2
rid e  too   high   on   you r  body,   possib  ly  causin g
intern al  injuries.  Alw ays  buckle  you r belt  into  the
buckle   nearest  you .
A belt  that  is loose  will  not  protect  you  as well.  In
a  sudden   stop   you  could   move  too   far  forw ard ,
increasin  g the possib  ility  of injury.  Wear  you r seat
belt  snugly.
A belt  that  is worn  under  you r arm  is very  danger-
ous.  Your body   could  strik e the  insid e  surfaces  of
the veh icle  in a collision  , increasin g head  and  neck
injury.   A   belt   worn   under    the   arm  can   cause
intern al  injuries.   Rib s aren ’t as stron g as  shoulder
bones.  Wear the  belt  over you r shoulder   so that  the
stron gest  bones  will  tak e the  force  in  a collision  .
