Rear Axle Lock Indica tor — If Equipped
This light ind icates when the rear axle lock has
been activated .
17. Vehicle Securit y Light — If Equipped
This light will flash at a fast rate for approxi-
mately 15 second s, when the vehicle security
alarm is arm ing, and then will flash slow ly
until the vehicle is disarm ed.

Temperature Gauge
The tem peratu re gau ge show s engine coolant tem pera-
ture. Any read ing within the norm al range ind icates that
the engine cooling system is operating satisfactorily.
CAUTIO N!
The gau ge pointer will likely ind icate a higher tem pera-
ture when driving in hot weather, up mountain grad es,
or when tow ing a trailer. It shou ld not be allow ed to
exceed the upper limits of the norm al operating range.
Do not operate the engin e with the tach ometer
poin ter in the red area. Engin e damage will occur.
16.
Engine Temperature Warning Light
This light warns of an overheated engine cond i-
tion. If the engine is critically hot, a warning chim e
will sou nd 10 times. After the chim e turns off, the
engine will still be critically hot until the light goes out.
