Raisin g the veh icle high er than necessary can make
the veh icle less stab le and cause an accid ent. It could
slip off the jack and hurt som eon e near it. Raise the
veh icle only enough to rem ove the tire.

Remove the lug nu ts and wheel.
7.
Position the spare wheel/ tire on the vehicle and install
the lug nu ts with the cone-shap ed end tow ard the wheel.
Lightly tighten the lug nu ts clockw ise. To avoid the risk
of forcing the vehicle off the jack, do not tighten the nu ts
fully until the vehicle has been lowered .

Lower the vehicle by turning the jack screw to the left,

Raise the vehicle by turning the jack screw to the right.
and rem ove the jack and wheel blocks.
Raise the vehicle only until the tire just clears the surface
and enou gh clearance is obtained to install the spare tire. 9. Finish tightening the lug nu ts. Push down on the
