Do not let anyon e sit in the veh icle when it is on a
jack .

Do not get under the veh icle when it is on a jack .
Only use the jack in the position s indicated and
for liftin g this veh icle durin g a tire change.
If work ing on or near a road way, be extrem ely
carefu l of motor traffic.
To assu re that spare tires, flat or inflated , are
secu rely stow ed, spares must be stow ed with the
valve stem facin g the grou nd.

Remove the spare tire, jack and tools from the stored

2. Loosen (but do not rem ove) the wheel lug nu ts by
turning them to the left one turn while the wheel is still
on the grou nd .

Turn on the Hazard Warn ing flash er.

Assem ble the jack and jacking tools. Connect the jack

Operate the jack from the front or the rear of the
vehicle. Place the jack und er the axle tube, as show n. Do
not raise the veh icle until you are sure the jack is fully
engaged .
