The catalytic converter req uires the use of unlead ed
fuel only. Lead ed gasolin e will destroy the effective-
ness of the catalyst as an emission s control device

veh icle is not kept in prop er operatin g condition . In
the even t of engin e malfu nction , particu larly involv-
ing engin e misfire or oth er apparen t loss of perfor-

portant to keep the engine prop erly tuned to assu re
