options, must be consid ered as part of the total load on

manu al for the maxim um combined weight of occupants

as safe as possib le:
Make certain that the load is secu red in the trailer
and will not shift durin g travel. When trailerin g
cargo that is not fully secu red , dynamic load shifts
can occur that may be difficu lt for the driver to
control. You could lose control of you r veh icle and
have an accid ent.

mend ed:
NOTE: Trailer tow ing requ ires special rear axle lubri-
cant. Refer to “Fluids, Lubricants, and Genu ine Parts” in
Section 7 for the correct fluid typ e.
