Clock Setting Procedure
uconnect gps — RER only
The REN and RER rad ios contain a CD/ DVD player, USB
port, and a 30-gigabyte hard drive (HDD). Sirius Satellite
Radio is optional. The 6.5 in (16.5 cm) tou ch screen allow s
for easy menu selection.
The GPS receiver used in this system is synchronized to
the time data being transm itted by the GPS satellite. The
satellite clock is Greenw ich Mean Time (GMT). This is the
world wide stand ard for time. This makes the system ’s
clock very accurate once the approp riate time zone and
daylight savings inform ation is set.
The RER rad io also contains a Global Positioning System
(GPS)-based Navigation system .
