Do not discon nect the stab ilizer bar and drive on
hard -surfaced road s or at speed s above 18 mph

km/h); you may lose control of the veh icle, which
could resu lt in seriou s injury. The fron t stab ilizer bar
enhances veh icle stab ility and is necessary for main -
tain ing control of the veh icle. The system monitors
veh icle speed and will attem pt to recon nect the
stab ilizer bar at speed s over 18 mph (29 km/h). This is
indicated by a flash ing or solid “Sw ay Bar Indicator
Ligh t.” Once veh icle speed is red uced below 14 mph
Sway Bar Switch
Press the SWAY BAR switch to activate the system . Press
the switch again to deactivate the system . The “Sway Bar
Ind icator Light” (located in the instru ment cluster) will
illuminate when the bar is disconnected . The “Sway Bar
