Turn the ignition switch to the ACC (ACCESSORY)
position.

all doors when leavin g the veh icle unatten ded.

STEERING WHEEL LOCK
Leavin g unatten ded child ren in a veh icle is danger-
ous for a number of reason s. A child or oth ers could
be injured . Child ren should be warn ed not to tou ch
the park ing brak e, brak e pedal, or the shift lever. Do
not leave the key in the ign ition . A child could
operate power windows, oth er controls, or move the
veh icle.
Your vehicle may be equ ipped with a passive steering
wheel lock. This lock prevents steering the vehicle with-
out the ignition key. If the steering wheel is moved
approxim ately a half turn in either direction, and the key
is not in the ignition, the steering wheel will lock.
