Remove  the  hard  top . Refer  to  “Freed om Top  Three-    4.  Using  a rubber  mallet,  carefu lly tap the  knu ckles from
Piece Mod ular  Hard  Top —  Front/ Rear  Panel  Removal”     the left  and  right  metal  pivot  brackets.   Remove  the  soft
later  in this  section.                                                            top  from  the  vehicle  and  store in  a clean,  dry  location.

Remove   the   soft  top   bow   assem bly  pivot   bracket
screw s (two  per  side) using  a  #T30 Torx௡ head  driver.

Unzip  the  zipper  on the  sport  bar cover  to  expose the
pivot  brackets.  Remove  the  brackets  using   a #T30 Torx௡
head   driver.  Recover   and   re-zip  the  sports   bar   cover.
Store  the pivot  brackets   and  screw s in a safe  place.
