WHAT TO DO IN EMERGENCIES
wheel  nu t  tightness   is 95  ft lbs  (130  N·m).  If  in doubt     dangerou  s if  done  improp erly,  so follow  this  proced ure

A loose  tire  or jack , throw n  forw ard  in a collision   or
hard  stop ,  could  endanger    the  occupants   of  the  ve-
hicle.  Alw ays stow  the jack  parts  and the  spare  tire in
the  places  provid  ed.
A battery   gen erates  hydrogen    gas  which  is  flam -
mable  and  explosive.   Keep  flam es or  spark s away
from  the  ven t holes.
Do  not  use a  booster  battery   or  any  oth er booster
sou rce that  has  a  greater  than  12-Volt  system  (i.e.,
do  not use  a  24-Volt power   sou rce).
