Remove the wind shield wiper arm s by first pulling
the wiper away from the wind shield and out to the
“lock” position. Unsnap the wiper arm nu t caps, and
rem ove the retaining nu ts. Lift the wiper arm s off and
store them in the center console or securely behind the
rear seat.

NOTE: It may be necessary to use a battery term inal
puller tool in ord er to separate the wiper arm s from the
shaft after the nu ts have been rem oved .

Remove the lower wind shield plates by rem oving the
six black rou nd -head ed Torx head screw s (using a #40
Torx head driver) on each side of the base of the
wind shield .
