EMERGENCY TOW HOOKS — IF EQUIPPED
If you r vehicle is equ ipped with tow hooks, they are
mounted in the front and the rear.
WARN ING!
Stan d clear of veh icles when pullin g with tow hook s.
Tow strap s and chain s may break , causin g seriou s
injury.
CAUTIO N!
Tow hook s are for emergen cy use only, to rescu e a
veh icle stran ded off road . Do not use tow hook s for
tow tru ck hook up or high way tow ing. You could
damage you r veh icle. Tow strap s are recom mended
when tow ing the veh icle, chain s may cause veh icle
damage.
TOWING A DISABLED VEHICLE
The manu factu rer recom mend s tow ing with all four
wheels OFF the grou nd . Accep table method s are to tow
the vehicle on a flatbed or with one end of the vehicle
raised and the other end on a tow ing dolly.
