Refit
Cross member outer rear panel (centre
section)
1. Fit and secure wiring.

Fit tail door aperture seal.
Fit head lining rear trim finisher.
Fit tail door tread plate.
Fit exhaust tailpipe heatshield.
Fit rear folding step.
Remove
1.
Disconnect both battery leads, negative lead
first.

EXTERIOR FITTINGS, REPAIRS,
Rear folding step.

Disconnect leads/multiplug from alternator.
Remove loadspace carpet.
INTERIOR TRIM COMPONENTS,

Fit rear bumper assembly.
EXTERIOR FITTINGS, REPAIRS,
Bumper assembly - rear - up to 03MY.

REPAIRS, Carpet - loadspace.
Fit loadspace carpet.

Remove rear bumper assembly.
EXTERIOR FITTINGS, REPAIRS,

INTERIOR TRIM COMPONENTS,

REPAIRS, Carpet - loadspace.
Bumper assembly - rear - up to 03MY.
Remove rear folding step.

Connect leads/multiplug to alternator.
Connect battery leads, negative lead last.

Remove exhaust tailpipe heatshield.
Remove tail door tread plate.
Remove head lining rear trim finisher.
Remove tail door aperture seal.
Remove relevant wiring.
Repair
1.
Remove existing panel(s), prepare panel joint
faces and install new panel(s) in accordance
with Panel Replacement Procedure. Punch or
drill holes in new panel for plug welding as
shown.
