Thevehiclehasreardoorsecurity   lockstoprevent
passengers fromopeningthereardoorsfromthe
inside.
Thevehiclewasprogrammed  sowhenthedoorsare
closed,theignitionison,andtheshiftleverismoved
outofP(Park),allthedoorswilllock.
Openthereardoorsto
accessthesecurity  locks
ontheinsideedgeof
eachdoor.
Thefrontdoorscanstillbeopenedfromtheinsidewhile
thedoorsarelocked.Ifarearpassenger    needstoexit
thevehicle, havethatpersonusethemanualknobor
usethepowerdoorlockswitchoneitherfrontdoor.
Whenthedoorisclosedagain,itwillnotlock
automatically.Usethemanualknoborthepower
doorlockswitchtolockthedoor.
Thedoorswerealsopre-programmed   tounlockevery
timetheshiftleverismovedintoP(Park).
Thepowerdoorlockscanbeprogrammed    throughthe
radiodisplay.Theradiodisplayallowsyoutochoose
variouslockandunlocksettings.   Formoreinformation
onprogramming, seeVehiclePersonalization  on
page 3‑58.
Tosetthelocks,insertakeyintotheslotandturnitto
thehorizontal position. Thedoorcanonlybeopened
fromtheoutsidewiththedoorunlocked.    Toreturnthe
doortonormaloperation,  turntheslottothevertical
position.
