Holdthebottomofthesteering wheelwithonehand.
Then,tomovethetrailertotheleft,movethathandto
theleft.Tomovethetrailer totheright,moveyourhand
totheright.Alwaysbackupslowlyand,ifpossible,
havesomeoneguideyou.
Thearrowsontheinstrument panelflashwhenever
signaling aturnorlanechange.Properly hookedup,
thetrailerlampsalsoflash,tellingotherdriversthe
vehicleisturning, changinglanesorstopping.
Whentowingatrailer,thearrowsontheinstrument
panelflashforturnsevenifthebulbsonthetrailerare
burnedout.Forthisreasonyoumaythinkotherdrivers
areseeingthesignalwhentheyarenot.Itisimportant
tocheckoccasionally tobesurethetrailerbulbsare
stillworking.

Notice: Makingverysharpturnswhiletrailering
couldcausethetrailertocomeincontactwiththe
vehicle. Thevehiclecouldbedamaged. Avoid
makingverysharpturnswhiletrailering.
Thevehiclehasbulbwarninglights.Whenatrailer
lighting systemispluggedintothevehicle's lighting
system,itsbulbwarninglightsmaynotletyouknowif
oneofthelampsgoesout.So,whenthetrailerlighting
systemispluggedin,besuretocheckthevehicleand
trailerlampsfromtimetotimetobesuretheyareall
working. Oncethetrailerlampsaredisconnected, the
bulbwarninglightsagaincantellyouifoneofthe
vehiclelampsisout.
Whenturningwithatrailer,makewiderturnsthan
normal.Dothissothetrailerwillnotstrikesoft
shoulders, curbs,roadsigns,treesorotherobjects.
Avoidjerkyorsuddenmaneuvers. Signalwellin
advance.
