LDWwillindicate  thesystemisworkingwhenever
itdetectseithertheleftorrightlanemarking.Soif
youdepartonthesideofthelanethatLDWisnot
detecting, LDWwillnotwarnyou.

TheLaneDeparture  Warning(LDW)systemdoes
notsteerthevehicleandisonlyanaidtohelpyou
stayinyourdrivinglane.TheLDWsystem
maynot:
Ifyoudonotcarefully   maintain yourvehicle
position withinthelane,vehicledamage,injury,
ordeathcouldoccur.EvenwithLDW,always
keepyourattention  ontheroadandmaintain
propervehicleposition  withinthelane.Always
keepthewindshield  cleananddonotuseLDWin
badweatherconditions.

Whenthevehiclecrossesadetected   lanemarking,the
LDWsymbolwillflashandyouwillhearthreebeeps.
LDWwillnotwarnyouiftheturnsignalisonorifthe
vehiclemakesasharpmaneuver.Beforemakingalane
change,checkthevehicle's  mirrors, glanceoveryour
shoulder forvehicles andhazards, andturnontheturn
signalbeforechanging  lanes.
Workproperly underbadweatherconditions
orifthewindshield  isnotkeptclean.
Detectlanemarkings  andwillnotdetectroad
edges.
Warnyouthatyourvehicleiscrossingalane
markingifthesystemdoesnotdetectthelane
marking.
