Thespeedometer showsthespeedinbothkilometers
perhour(km/h)andmilesperhour(mph).SeeDIC

SafetyBeltReminderLight
Whentheengineisstarted,   achimesoundsforseveral
secondstoremindadrivertofastenthesafetybelt,
unlessthedriversafetybeltisalreadybuckled.
Theodometer mileagecanbecheckedwithoutthe
vehiclerunning. Thevehicle's odometerworkstogether
withthedriverinformation  center.Theodometercanbe
setforaTripAandaTripB.See“TripInformation”
underDICOperation  andDisplays on page 4‑70 for
moreinformation.
Thesafetybeltlight
comesonandstayson
forseveralseconds,then
flashesforseveralmore.
Ifthevehicleeverneedsanewodometer    installed, the
newonewillbesettothecorrectmileagetotalofthe
oldodometer.
Thischimeandlightarerepeated   ifthedriverremains
unbuckled andthevehicleisinmotion.Ifthedriver
safetybeltisalreadybuckled,   neitherthechimenorthe
lightcomeson.
Tachometer
Thisgageindicates  theenginespeedinrevolutions  per
minute(rpm).
