Thismessagedisplays  iftheStabiliTrak systemisnot
ready.Twoconditions  maycausethismessageto
display:
messagedisplays whenthestability  controlsystem
isinthesecuremode.Stability   SecureModeisset
automatically whencertainsystemfaultsorvehicle
conditions aredetected. WhentheStability Secure
Modeisactivated,  thestability controlsystemwillnot
respondtodriverrequests  tochangethestability  mode
untilthenextignition  cycleoruntilthevehiclecondition
.
Thevehicleneedstobedriveninastraight     line
untilthesensorsarecentered.   Oncethesensors
arecentered, theStabiliTrak systemisreadyand
theSTABILITYSYSREADYmessagedisplays.

Thesystemneedstowarmup.Thismayoccur
whenfirststarting  yourvehicleanddrivingaway
duringcoldwinterweather.Thisisnormal.To
acknowledge thismessage,presstheresetbutton.

STABILITYSYSREADYmessageisdisplayed   inthe

Thismessagedisplays  anytimetheStabiliTraksystem
orEnhancedStabiliTrak  systemisactively assisting
withdirectional controlofthevehicle.  Slipperyroad
conditions mayexistwhenthismessageisdisplayed,
soadjustyourdrivingaccordingly.Thismessagemay
stayonforafewsecondsafterStabiliTrak    stops
assisting withdirectional controlofthevehicle.  See

Thismessagedisplays  anytimeStabiliTrakor
EnhancedStabiliTrak isturnedoffusingtheTC(traction
control) on/offbutton.SeeTractionControlSystem
