Notice: Ifthejumpercablesareconnected   or
removedinthewrongorder,electrical   shorting may
occuranddamagethevehicle.   Therepairswould
notbecoveredbythevehiclewarranty.Always
connectandremovethejumpercablesinthe
correctorder,makingsurethatthecablesdonot
toucheachotherorothermetal.
Todisconnect thejumpercablesfrombothvehicles,
dothefollowing:

Disconnect theblacknegative(−)cablefromthe
vehiclethathadthedeadbattery.
Disconnect theblacknegative(−)cablefromthe
vehiclewiththegoodbattery.
Disconnect theredpositive(+)cablefromthe
vehiclewiththegoodbattery.
Disconnect theredpositive(+)cablefromthe
othervehicle.
All-WheelDrive
Allofthelubricant  checksinthissectionapplytoyour
vehicle. Ifyouhaveanall-wheel-drive  vehicle, thereis
anadditional systemthatneedlubrication.
TransferCase
WhentoCheckLubricant
Itisnotnecessary  toregularly checkthetransfer  case
fluidunlessyoususpectthereisaleakoryouhearan
unusualnoise.Afluidlosscouldindicate    aproblem.
Haveitinspected  andrepaired.
