(800km)thenewvehicleisdriven.Theengine,
axleorotherpartscouldbedamaged.
Thefollowing information hasmanytime-tested,
important trailering tipsandsafetyrules.Manyof
theseareimportant foryoursafetyandthatofyour
passengers. Sopleasereadthissectioncarefully before
pullingatrailer.

traileristowed,donotdriveover50mph(80km/h)
anddonotmakestartsatfullthrottle. Thishelps
theengineandotherpartsofthevehiclewearinat
theheavierloads.
Load-pulling components suchastheengine,
transmission, rearaxle,wheelassemblies andtiresare
forcedtoworkharderagainstthedragoftheadded
weight.Theengineisrequired tooperateatrelatively
higherspeedsandundergreaterloads,generating
extraheat.Thetraileralsoaddsconsiderably towind
resistance, increasing thepullingrequirements.
