System(TCS)isactively  limiting wheelspin.Slippery
roadconditions mayexistifthismessageisdisplayed,
soadjustyourdrivingaccordingly.Themessagestays
onforafewsecondsaftertheTCSstopslimiting     wheel
spin.SeeTractionControlSystem(TCS)   on page  5‑9
formoreinformation.
Thissymbolappearswith
thismessage.
TRANS(Transmission)HOTIDLE
ENGINE
Thismessagedisplays  whenthetrunkisnotclosed
completely.Makesurethatthetrunkisclosed
completely.
Notice: Ifyoudriveyourvehiclewhilethe
transmission fluidisoverheating andthe
transmission temperature warningisdisplayed on
theinstrument panelclusterand/orDIC,youcan
damagethetransmission.  Thiscouldleadtocostly
repairsthatwouldnotbecoveredbyyourwarranty.
Donotdriveyourvehiclewithoverheated
transmission fluidorwhilethetransmission
temperature warningisdisplayed.
TURNSIGNALON
Thismessagedisplays  andachimesoundsifaturn
signalisleftonforabout1mile(1.6km).Turnoffthe
turnsignal.
Thismessagedisplays  whenthetransmission fluidin
yourvehicleistoohot.Stopthevehicleandallowitto
idleuntilthetransmission  coolsdownoruntilthis
messageisremoved.
