eightordriveoutofthearea,thecompassvariance
needstobechangedtotheappropriate    zone.
CompassOperation
PressOtoturnthecompassonoroff.
Toadjustforcompassvariance:
Whentheignitionandthecompassfeatureareon,
themirrordisplays  thecompassheadingaftera
fewseconds.
1. Findthecurrentlocation  andvariance zone
numberonthefollowing  zonemap.
CompassCalibration
Ifafterfewseconds,thedisplaydoesnotshowa
compassheading(forexample,  NforNorth),theremay
beastrongmagnetic  fieldinterfering withthecompass.
Interference canbecausedbyamagnetic   antenna
mount,magneticnotepadholderorasimilarmagnetic
item.IftheletterCshouldeverappearinthecompass
window,thecompassmayneedcalibration.
Themirrorcanbecalibrated   bydrivingthevehiclein
circlesat5mph(8km/h)orlessuntilthedisplayreadsa
direction.
Thecompasscanbeplacedincalibration    mode
manually bypressing andholdingOuntilaCisshown
inthecompassdisplay.
