Yourvehiclemaybeequipped withfrontcompartment

underhood sightshields, whichsurround thevehicle's

enginecover.Thesesightshieldswillneedtobe

removedinordertoaccesssomeoftheunderhood

components inyourvehicle.

Toremovethesightshields, turnthefasteners oneach

shieldtotheleftuntiltheypopout.Thenremovethe

fasteners andlifttheshieldsupandawayfromthe

towertotowerbrace.

Thengotothefrontofthevehicleandfindthe

secondary hoodreleaselever.Theleverislocated

underthefrontedgeofthegrillenearthecenter.

Pushthereleaseleverupandraisethehood.

Beforeclosingthehood,besureallthefillercapsare

onproperly.Thenpullthehooddownandcloseitfirmly.
