CruiseControl. Butitdoesnotneedtobereset.
UsetheGAPbuttononthesteering wheeltoadjustthe
followdistance betweenyourvehicleandother
vehicle's.
Oncethevehiclereachesabout48km/h(30mph)or
more,movetheAdaptive CruiseControlswitchbriefly
fromRtoS.Adaptive CruiseControlwillbeengaged
withthespeedpreviously selected.
Pressthetopofthebuttontoincrease thedistance or
thebottomofthebuttontodecrease thedistance.
Thefirstbuttonpressshowsthecurrentfollowdistance
settingontheHUD.Thecurrentfollowing distance
settingismaintained untilitischanged.
SelectingtheFollowDistance(GAP)
Whenthesystemdetectsaslowermovingvehicle, it
willadjustyourvehicle's speedandmaintain the
following distance (gap)selected.
Therearesixfollowdistances tochoosefrom.The
followdistance selection rangesfromneartofar
(onesecondtotwosecondsfollowtime).Thedistance
maintained foraselected followdistance variesbased
onvehiclespeed.Thefasterthevehiclespeedthe
furtherbackyouwillfollow.Consider trafficand
weatherconditions whenselecting thefollowdistance.
