GMrecommends replacing tiresinsetsoffour.
Thisisbecauseuniformtreaddepthonalltires
willhelpkeepyourvehicle   performing mostlikeit
didwhenthetireswerenew.Replacing    lessthan
afullsetoftirescanaffectthebrakingand
handling performance ofyourvehicle.
GMhasdeveloped  andmatched specific tiresfor
yourvehicle. Theoriginal equipment tiresinstalled
onyourvehicle,  whenitwasnew,weredesigned
tomeetGeneral  MotorsTirePerformance Criteria
Specification (TPCSpec)systemrating.  Ifyou
needreplacement tires,GMstrongly  recommends
thatyougettireswiththesameTPCSpecrating.
Thisway,yourvehicle  willcontinue tohavetires
thataredesigned  togivethesameperformance
andvehiclesafety,duringnormaluse,asthe
original tires.
Theoptional 18‐inchperformance tires,size
255/45ZR18
99Y,usedonsomevehicles,   meets
theGeneral MotorsTirePerformance  Criteria
Specification (TPCSpec)ratingbuttheTPCSpec
codehasnotbeenmoldedontothetire'ssidewall.
Ifyourvehiclehasthesetires,andyouneedto
replacethem,youcanstillgettheseTPCSpec
ratedtiresbyaskingyourGMdealer.YourGM
dealercanorderthesetiresbypartnumber.This
way,yourvehicle  willcontinue togivetheproper
endurance, handling, traction, andrideasthe
original tires.
GM'sexclusive TPCSpecsystemconsiders  over
adozencritical  specifications thatimpactthe
overall performance ofyourvehicle, including
brakesystemperformance,  rideandhandling,
traction control, andtirepressure monitoring
performance. GM'sTPCSpecnumberismolded
ontothetire'ssidewall  nearthetiresize.Ifthe
tireshaveanall‐seasontreaddesign,   theTPC
Specnumberwillbefollowed   byanMSformud
andsnow.SeeTireSidewall   Labelingon
Wintertireswiththesamespeedratingasyour
original equipment tiresmaynotbeavailable  for
H,V,W,YandZRspeedratedtires.Ifyouchoose
snowtireswithalowerspeedrating,    never
exceedthetire'smaximumspeedcapability.
