A: Yes.Ifyouaddthingsthatchangeyourvehicle's
frame,bumpersystem,height,frontendorside
sheetmetal,theymaykeeptheairbagsystemfrom
workingproperly.Changingormovinganypartsof
thefrontseats,safetybelts,theairbagsensingand
diagnostic module,steering wheel,instrument panel,
roof-rail airbagmodules,ceiling headliner orpillar
garnishtrim,overhead console, frontsensors, side
impactsensors, orairbagwiringcanaffectthe
operation oftheairbagsystem.
{WARNING:
Forupto10secondsaftertheignition isturnedoff
andthebatteryisdisconnected, anairbagcanstill
inflateduringimproper service. Youcanbeinjured
ifyouareclosetoanairbagwhenitinflates. Avoid
yellowconnectors. Theyareprobably partofthe
airbagsystem.Besuretofollowproperservice
procedures, andmakesurethepersonperforming
