shoulder beltbehindtheirback.Achildcanbe
seriously injuredbynotwearingthelap-shoulder
beltproperly.Inacrash,thechildwouldnotbe
restrained bytheshoulder belt.Thechildcould
movetoofarforwardincreasing   thechanceof
headandneckinjury.Thechildmightalsoslide
underthelapbelt.Thebeltforcewouldthenbe
appliedrightontheabdomen.   Thatcouldcause
seriousorfatalinjuries.  Theshoulder beltshould
goovertheshoulder  andacrossthechest.
