products onthevehiclemaydamagethepaintfinish
and/ortires.Whenapplying atiredressing, always
wipeoffanyoverspray fromallpaintedsurfaces on
thevehicle.
Atleasteveryspring,flushthesematerials fromthe
underbody withplainwater.Cleananyareaswhere
mudanddebriscancollect. Dirtpackedincloseareas
oftheframeshouldbeloosened beforebeingflushed.

systemcandothis.
SheetMetalDamage
Ifthevehicleisdamagedandrequires sheetmetal
repairorreplacement, makesurethebodyrepairshop
appliesanti-corrosion material topartsrepaired or
replaced torestorecorrosion protection.
ChemicalPaintSpotting
Original manufacturer replacement partswillprovidethe
corrosion protection whilemaintaining thevehicle
warranty.
Someweatherandatmospheric conditions cancreatea
chemicalfallout. Airbornepollutants canfalluponand
attackpaintedsurfaces onthevehicle. Thisdamage
cantaketwoforms:blotchy,ring-shaped discolorations,
andsmall,irregular darkspotsetchedintothepaint
surface.
FinishDamage
Anystonechips,fractures ordeepscratches inthe
finishshouldberepaired rightaway.Baremetalwill
corrodequicklyandmaydevelopintomajorrepair
expense.
Althoughnodefectinthepaintjobcausesthis,wewill
repair,atnochargetotheowner,thesurfaces ofnew
vehicles damagedbythisfallout condition within
Minorchipsandscratches canberepaired with
touch-up materials available fromyourdealer/retailer.
Largerareasoffinishdamagecanbecorrected inyour
dealer's/retailer's bodyandpaintshop.
