childrestraint, nosystemisfail-safe, andnoone
canguarantee thatanairbagwillnotdeployunder
someunusualcircumstance, eventhoughitis
turnedoff.Werecommend thatrear-facing child
restraints besecuredintherearseat,evenifthe
airbagisoff.
IfthewordONortheonsymbolislitonthepassenger
airbagstatusindicator,itmeansthattherightfront
passenger's frontalairbagisenabled(mayinflate).

rear-facing childrestraint installed intherightfront
passenger's seat,itmeansthatthepassenger
sensingsystemhasnotturnedoffthepassenger's
frontalairbag.Achildinarear-facing child

rightfrontpassenger's airbaginflates. Thisis
becausethebackoftherear-facing childrestraint
wouldbeveryclosetotheinflating airbag.Donot
usearear-facing childrestraint intherightfront
passenger's seatiftheairbagisturnedon.
IfthewordOFFortheoffsymbolislitontheairbag
statusindicator,itmeansthatthepassenger sensing
systemhasturnedofftherightfrontpassenger's frontal
