WarningLight
IftheABSlightstayson,turntheignition     off.Ifthelight
comesonwhiledriving,  stopassoonasitissafely
possible andturntheignitionoff.Thenstarttheengine
againtoresetthesystem.IftheABSlightstayson,
orcomesonagainwhiledriving,   thevehicleneeds
service. Iftheregularbrakesystemwarninglightisnot
on,thevehiclestillhasbrakes,butnotantilock     brakes.
Iftheregularbrakesystemwarninglightisalsoon,the
vehicledoesnothaveantilock   brakesandthereisa
problemwiththeregularbrakes.SeeBrakeSystem
WarningLightonpage4‑58.
Forvehicles withthe
Antilock BrakeSystem
(ABS),thislightcomeson
brieflywhentheengineis
started.
Forvehicles withaDriverInformation  Center(DIC),
seeDICWarningsandMessages   on page 4‑76 forall
brakerelated DICmessages.
Ifitdoesnot,havethevehicleserviced    byyour
dealer/retailer. Ifthesystemisworkingnormally   the
indicator lightthengoesoff.
