upshiftwhennecessary whileusingDSC.
WhenusingtheDSC
mode,thenumber
displayed ontheDriver
Information Center(DIC)
indicates thegearthat
thetransmission isin.

DriverShiftControl(DSC)allowsyoushiftanautomatic
transmission similartoamanualtransmission. Touse
theDSCfeature:

MovetheshiftlevertotherightfromD(Drive)into
theDSCarea.

WheninDSCmode,the
sportsymbolwillappear
intheDriverInformation
Center(DIC).
Whenstarting thevehiclefromastoppedcondition,
only1(First)and2(Second) gearmaybeused.
WhileusingtheDSCfeaturethevehiclewillhavefirmer
shifting andincreased performance. Youcanusethis
forsportdrivingorwhenclimbing/descending hillsto
stayingearlongerortodownshiftformorepoweror
enginebraking.
Thetransmission willonlyallowyoutoshiftinto
gearsappropriate forthevehiclespeedandengine
Revolutions PerMinute(RPM).Thetransmission will
notautomatically shifttothenexthighergearifthe
engineRPMistoohigh.
Thevehiclewillremaininsportmodeifthe
shiftleverisnotmoved.Sportmodewillshift
automatically butremaininagearlongerthenit
wouldinnormaldrivingmodebasedonbraking
andacceleration.
