Switch replacement
Remove
NOTE: The following procedure applies to
either switch.
1.
Disconnect battery negative lead.
Remove
2. Remove ashtray.

Remove steering column shroud. See
STEERING, Repair, Steering Column Shroud
Position steering wheel for access.

Remove 2 screws securing switch.
Insert a suitable, flat bladed tool between switch
and casing, depress raised ’pip’, release switch
from casing.

Carefully release panel from fascia.
Disconnect multiplug from switch.
Depress retaining lugs, remove switch from
panel.
5.
Disconnect switch multiplugs.
Bulb replacement
Refit
6.
Rotate bulb holder 90 deg. and withdraw it from
switch, discard bulb holder and bulb.

Connect switch multiplugs.
Position switch to casing ensuring ’pip’ is
engaged.
Refit

Reverse removal procedure. 1 and 3.
