readiness lightisworking. SeeAirbagReadiness  Light

CheckingtheRestraintSystems
SafetyBelts
Nowandthen,checkthatthesafetybeltreminder     light,
safetybelts,buckles,  latchplates,retractors, and
anchorages areallworkingproperly.
Notice: Ifanairbagcovering  isdamaged, opened,
orbroken,theairbagmaynotworkproperly.Donot
openorbreaktheairbagcoverings.   Ifthereareany
openedorbrokenairbagcovers,havetheairbag
coveringand/orairbagmodulereplaced.   Forthe
location oftheairbagmodules,  seeWhatMakesan
AirbagInflate? onpage 2‑65.Seeyourdealer
forservice.
Lookforanyotherlooseordamagedsafetybeltsystem
partsthatmightkeepasafetybeltsystemfromdoingits
job.Seeyourdealertohaveitrepaired.    Tornorfrayed
safetybeltsmaynotprotectyouinacrash.Theycanrip
apartunderimpactforces.Ifabeltistornorfrayed,get
anewonerightaway.
Makesurethesafetybeltreminder   lightisworking.
