Youwillbeusingthelap-shoulder belttosecurethe
childrestraint inthisposition. Followtheinstructions
thatcamewiththechildrestraint.

Movetheseatasfarbackasitwillgobefore
securing theforward-facing childrestraint.
Whenthepassenger sensingsystemhasturned
offtherightfrontpassenger frontalairbagand
seat-mounted sideimpactairbag,theoffindicator
onthepassenger airbagstatusindicator should
lightandstaylitwhenyoustartthevehicle. See
Passenger AirbagStatusIndicator onpage4‑49.
Donotsecureachildseatinaposition withouta
toptetheranchorifanationalorlocallawrequires that
thetoptetherbeanchored, oriftheinstructions that
comewiththechildrestraint saythatthetopstrapmust
beanchored.
