Ifyouaddwheelsortiresthatareadifferent sizethan
youroriginal equipment wheelsandtires,thismay
affectthewayyourvehicleperforms, including its
braking, rideandhandling characteristics, stability,and
resistance torollover.Additionally,ifyourvehiclehas
electronic systemssuchas,antilock brakes,traction
control, andelectronic stability control, theperformance
ofthesesystemscanbeaffected.
Ifyouusebias-ply tiresonthevehicle, the
wheelrimflanges coulddevelopcracks
aftermanymilesofdriving. Atireand/or
wheelcouldfailsuddenly,causingacrash.
Useonlyradial-ply tireswiththewheelson
thevehicle.

thatdonothaveaTPCSpecnumber,makesurethey
arethesamesize,loadrange,speedrating,and
construction type(radialandbias‐beltedtires)asyour
vehicle's original tires.
Ifyouadddifferent sizedwheels,yourvehicle
maynotprovideanacceptable levelof
performance andsafetyiftiresnotrecommended
forthosewheelsareselected. Youmayincrease
thechancethatyouwillcrashandsufferserious
injury.OnlyuseGMspecific wheelandtire
systemsdeveloped foryourvehicle, andhave
themproperly installed byaGMcertified
technician.
Vehiclesthathaveatirepressure monitoring system
couldgiveaninaccurate low‐pressure warningif
non‐TPCSpecratedtiresareinstalled onyourvehicle.
Non‐TPCSpecratedtiresmaygivealow‐pressure
warningthatishigherorlowerthantheproperwarning
