overheating.
Thereisanenginetemperature   warninglightand/or
gaugeontheinstrument  panelcluster.SeeEngine
CoolantTemperatureWarningLight  on page 4‑54 and
EngineCoolantTemperatureGaugeonpage4‑54.

Withthecoolantsurgetankcapoff,startthe
engineandletitrununtilyoucanfeeltheupper
radiator hosegettinghot.Watchoutfortheengine
coolingfans.
Bythistime,thecoolantlevelinsidethecoolant
surgetankmaybelower.Ifthelevelislower,add
moreofthepropermixturetothecoolantsurge
tankuntilthelevelreachestheFULLCOLDmark
onthesideofthecoolantsurgetank.

Replacethecap.Besurethecapishand‐tightand
fullyseated.
